Full-Time Positions

Director of Admissions

Commitment: Two years, with the potential to extend. 
Compensation: Fund-raised position with a target salary of $30,000- $35,000 (based on experience)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Position Summary:
The ACMin Director of Admissions will manage the organizational operations related to
student recruiting and the admissions process. Specific duties will include:
• Attend weekly Leadership Team and Prayer Hour meetings;
• Engage in ACMin awareness-building and student recruiting at off-campus locations;
• Manage incoming student applications by corresponding with prospects and admissions committee;
• Developing a core of ACMin student activities with the goals of: a) building the student culture and community; and b) promoting ACMin within the surrounding community; and c) bringing glory to God.

Administrative Assistant

Commitment: Two years, with the potential to extend. 
Compensation: Fund-raised position with a target salary of $30,000- $35,000 

Position Description
The Administrative Assistant to the President will be expected to:
• Attend weekly Leadership Team and Prayer Hour meetings;
• Assist with phone and email communications, file maintenance and management, meeting planning and scheduling, and report preparation for the President;
• Help maintain and update the ACMin website and college-wide databases as needed;
• Assist with financial data entries;
• Assist with ACMin’s social media presence;
• Train and supervise other ACMin student workers;
• Attend outreach and special events as requested to support on-site logistics;
• Participate in data-gathering and/or problem-solving, and make recommendations to the ACMin President for improved operations management; assist and support ACMin faculty, staff, and Board as requested.

Qualifications

Event Coordinator

Commitment: Two years, with the potential to extend. 
Compensation: Fund-raised position with a target salary of $30,000- $35,000 

Position Description
The ACMin Event Coordinator will manage the organizational operations related to key ACMin events.
Specific duties will include:
• Attend weekly Leadership Team and Prayer Hour meetings.
• Manage the logistical details of key ACMin community-facing events (e.g. ServeAthens ICN, A.D.O.R.E., New Year-New Heart, Transformed!, and the annual Pastors Appreciation event).
• Ensure effective communication among key event leaders and Steering Committees regarding the plans for each event.
• Recruit event sponsors from the business community.
• Ensure effective publicity related to each event through social media and other avenues, including the preparation of presentations, videos, and other marketing materials.
• Manage event-related budgets.
• Assist the Director of Outreach & Student Affairs and the President with event-related duties as needed.

Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Commitment: 10-20 hr work week, 2 days per week with the potential to move to FT. 
Compensation: Fund-raised position 

Position Description
The ACMin Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will manage the organizational operations related to
ACMin marketing strategies. Specific duties will include:
• Attend weekly Leadership Team and Prayer Hour meetings.
• Manage and post on ACMin social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Google, Blog, Youtube).
• Work with the Director of Outreach & Student Affairs and the President to ensure effective publicity
related to ACMin events, classes, seminars, etc. through social media and other avenues, including the
preparation of presentations, videos, and other marketing materials as needed.
• Ensure effective communication within the ACMin community utilizing a variety of marketing strategies.
• Analyze marketing data and develop strategies for improving ACMin’s marketing presence.
• Assist with marketing-related budgets.
• Assist the Director of Outreach & Student Affairs and the President with marketing-related duties as
needed.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma (no exceptions), Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong Christian spiritual maturity.
• A sincere interest in furthering the ACMin mission and supporting the ACMin Belief Statement.
• Experience with marketing and social media platforms and strategies.
• Excellent organizational and marketing skills, including attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate confidence around leaders, students, community

• Strong written communication skills including the ability to prepare accurate and appropriate posts,
messages, presentations and documentation.

Part-Time Instructors

The Athens College of Ministry invites faculty applications for part-time instructor positions. The college offers Certificates, Associate’s Degrees, Bachelor’s Degrees, and Master’s Degrees in seven areas of Christian Ministry. Applicants should become familiar with the college’s mission, purpose, belief statement, and curricula.

Instructor Qualifications

  • Applicants should hold a Doctorate (preferred) or Master’s Degree relevant to the area of instruction. Previous teaching and ministry experience strongly preferred.
  • Applicants should have a strong desire to uphold the institutional vision, mission statement, and belief statement of the Athens College of Ministry—to equip believers for Kingdom service with God’s glory as the ultimate goal.

Instructor Responsibilities

  • Adhere to professional discipline and accreditation standards
  • Attend faculty orientation
  • Provide course syllabus with clearly defined student outcomes
  • Prepare for and lead courses as scheduled
  • Respond to student queries in a timely manner, as appropriate
  • Provide individualized student support and mentorship as needed
  • Provide formative and summative student evaluations
  • Provide final grade reporting as scheduled
