The Application Process

Start Online Submission

Complete the online ADMISSIONS APPLICATION including your Personal Statement of Faith and submit the application fee of $35. Detailed instructions for completing your application portfolio are found at the link above.

Request Transcripts

-Incoming undergraduates and undergraduate transfer students with fewer than 30 hours of credit must send official high school transcripts.
-Incoming undergraduate transfer students and graduate students must send official college transcripts from ALL institutions attended.

Letters of Recommendation

Request that two letters of recommendation be submitted via the online Admissions Application. One Letter of Recommendation should be faith-based, the other should address the applicant’s intellectual ability to be successful. Recommenders must have known the applicant for a minimum of one year.

Official Test Scores

Undergraduate students must request that your official test scores be sent directly to the Athens College of Ministry. Incoming undergraduates and undergraduate transfer students with fewer than 30 hours of credit must send SAT or ACT scores.

Notification

Students will be notified by email when your Application for Admission and Application Fee have been received. Students will receive a second email notification when your application portfolio is complete.

Last Decision

An admission decision will be made within 30 days after your portfolio is complete.  You will be notified by the Director of Admissions.

Things To Know First

The Common Application is required for students applying to any or all of KU’s three degree. You’ll be able to choose your campus and program s that you are interested.

You will need :

  • Contact information for the counselor or other school representative who will complete your Common Application School Report and submit your official high school transcript.
  • Contact information for one teacher (or two, maximum) who will complete the Teacher Evaluation form.
  • Nonrefundable $50 application fee. Students who are unable to pay the application fee can request a fee waiver.
